One more train ride...

can't keep up? don't worry, neither can I! Quick update - I'm in the city for the week to study at the Merce Cunningham dance company school. I'll try to update as i can - pictures of the journey so far will probably end up waiting until next week.

In MA, day 1

So I am in fact in massachusetts (i think...but since i haven't actually left the house today i'm not 100% sure. Maybe it's all a dream??) Got here last night about 8pm - all was well until i hit traffic in Connecticut. Gotta love going a grand total of 8 miles in 1 hour. Had Friendly's for dinner last night...not the same as Ghiardhelli but still good.




Today, I'm struggling with some of the larger issues in life....namely what the heck am I doing here?? I'll let you know if/when i figure that one out. In the meantime, I'm going to start a running list of things that have caught my attention up here in a positive way (i'm really trying here!)

The City of Brotherly Love....

So, having gone to bed on a train somwhere south of the Mason-Dixon line (probably in South Carolina by the time I fell asleep), I woke up in Virginia and am now in Philadelphia. Makes sense right? I actually did get to stop in Baltimore on the way but managed to avoid having any crab cakes (ate at California Pizza Kitchen instead - fyi they have good salad!) Now I am in philly, visiting my cousins. I feel bad for them since i basically walked into the house and proclaimed my hatred for all things northern. I mean seriously, should I be wearing a sweatshirt now??? Actually, it is pretty here...I just miss my Florida. sigh.

ok, off to dinner and maybe some fireworks. Once i figure this thing out, i'll post some pictures. xoxo
